While our centres are closed why not try our Aqua-therapy land based exercises (download here)

Arthritis Care website offers lots of different exercises and movements that would benefit anyone with a mobility problem, not just those with Arthritis. (download here)

If you are experiencing mobility problems, aquatherapy might help. Our sessions can help you manage and improve the conditions that have reduced your mobility, and help increase your levels of physical activity for additional health benefits.

The sessions are based in local community leisure centres, all of which have disabled changing facilities and pool access. All attendees can bring a carer to assist and support them during the session at no extra charge.

Before you attend

Before booking, you need to complete a self-assessment to see if aquatherapy is right for you. If, upon completing the self-assessment, it says that aquatherapy is appropriate for you, please telephone your preferred centre to book a new starter session. You will need to report to reception 30 minutes before the start time of your first visit to complete some health screening paperwork.
