Wicked Walsall

9 October 2018 - 11 May 2019

Our current exhibition delves into the darker side of Walsall's history - superstition, crime and punishment, bloodsports, and macabre medicine.  The mysterious Bayard's Colts and scold's bridle are on display, and dare you take a peek at the Hand of Glory, the human arm found inside a chimney in Caldmore?

Made in Walsall

21 May – 29 June 2019
The Leather Museum has been working with students on the Supported Learning Creative Arts course at Walsall College for over 20 years.  We are proud to, once again, exhibit some of the fantastic work that they have created during the year.  This year's show will include ceramics, papier mache, lino cuts and handmade books.

Summer Holiday!

16 July – 5 October 2019
Get ready to enjoy some vintage vibes with our new exhibition!  Bold mid-century fashion and swimwear, picnic sets and postcards will be on display as we celebrate the traditional British summer holiday.

Then learn how to screen print using your stencils, silk screens, squeegees and water based inks. You will use registration techniques and create a series of unique multi-coloured prints on paper.  The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as people looking to refresh their skills.
