Visiting care home residents

Although COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, it's important that we protect residents of care homes.

If you're planning to visit a care or residential home, you should:

  • stay home and avoid visiting if you feel unwell, to stop passing on illnesses to residents or staff
  • wear a face covering (unless exempt)
  • wash your hands and use hand sanitiser when you're in the setting

The government website has more information about protecting residents in a care or residential home setting.
