George Rose Park

George Rose is a large green space in the west of Darlaston alongside the Black Country Route A463 and Wolverhampton Street. The park is split roughly in half by; a formal park area with a historic park lodge, bandstand, play area, and trim trail for outdoor exercise; and a strip of flatter grassland used for sporting activities, as well as being hired out regularly for events over the summer months.
There's no dedicated car parking for the park but it is well serviced by bus routes, with the Whitehouse Avenue stop for the 34, 334, and 700 buses stopping along Wolverhampton Street. The nearest postcode for the park is WS10 8UB.
Other green spaces nearby include Kings Hill Park, Willenhall Memorial Park and Fibbersley Local Nature Reserve.
