Walsall Council is building on the success of previous years MakerFest events to bring Walsall’s creative spirit to life once again, with the performers and activities announced for this year’s free festival.
Produced by Walsall’s own Bostin’ Creative, MakerFest is taking place on Saturday 26 September, and from 12pm to 4pm, MakerFest will bring music, dance, performance, a makers market and street food to Walsall town centre for a free day of creativity and family-friendly fun.

There’s lots happening across Walsall town centre, so use the programme below to plan your MakerFest adventure.
STREET STAGE
Location: The Crossing
Presented by Hannah Brockley
Opening Celebration
Join us as MakerFest gets underway with a spectacular opening celebration featuring:
- MISFITS Music – Birmingham Drum Battery
- Ultimate Bhangra
- Impact Samba Collective
- Brownhills Musical Theatre Company
- Autin Dance Theatre – Brimstone the Dragon
Throughout the afternoon
The Street Stage will feature performances from local performers and creative groups, including:
- Walsall Music Service
- Brownhills Musical Theatre Company
- Walsall Academy of Dance
- Voices of Hope – Fostering Choir
- Aldridge Musical Comedy Society
- Bhangra Bounce with Sohan Kailey
- Bostin’ Disco with Bostin’ Creative

THE TABLE – LIVE!
Location: Walsall Town Hall
12.45pm–4pm
For one day only, The Table café is coming to Walsall Town Hall!
Grab a coffee and some homemade cake while enjoying live music curated by the Table Team and presented by James Clark.
Come along, take a seat and enjoy the atmosphere.
TOWN HALL TAKEOVER

Get creative at the Town Hall Takeover!
Enjoy hands-on, family-friendly creative workshops where you can make and take your own creations. Drop in anytime.
MAKERS MARKET
Location: Upstairs at The Crossing

Discover a treasure trove of creativity from local makers
Browse brilliant handmade creations, find something unique and meet some of the talented people behind the products.
While you explore the Makers Market, enjoy poetry and live music on the Makers Stage.
MAKERFEST MOUTHFULS
Location: Darwall Street
12pm–4pm
Feeling hungry?
Head to Darwall Street for MakerFest Mouthfuls, bringing delicious street food to the festival.
