Determined Admission Arrangements for 2018/19
The Education and Inspections Act 2006 and the School Admissions Code 2014 require all ‘Admission Authorities’ (Local authorities for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools or Governing Bodies in the case of Voluntary Aided schools, Foundation schools and Academies) to determine their admission arrangements for the following year.
Following a period of formal consultation, the admission arrangements for Walsall Community and Voluntary Controlled schools and the Scheme for Coordinated Admissions for all Walsall primary and secondary schools and midyear admissions were determined by Cabinet on 13 February 2019.
