Doe Bank Park

Doe Bank Park is a well used park close to Pheasey in the south east of the borough; the woodland that forms part of the park used to be a much wider patch which was cleared around 1945 to make way for the Pheasey estate itself.

Where next door Barr Beacon is very much a wilder countryside site, Doe Bank is managed as a more recreational area and has a children's play area, football pitches, a BMX cycling track, multi use games area, and is also one of the parks in the borough with an outdoor green gym.

Dedicated car parking is available off Doe Bank Lane within the park and alongside the road edge, with the closest postcode being B43 7UG.

Other green spaces nearby include Blackwood Park, Barr Beacon, Sutton Park, and Merrions Wood Local Nature Reserve.
