Development and investment opportunities

Economic growth is a key corporate priority.

We are proud of our:

  • industrial heritage
  • strong manufacturing base
  • growing sectors
  • central location within the UK

We support regeneration and economic development by working closely with:

  • investors
  • developers
  • land owners
  • business owners

We use an open and innovative approach to delivery and investment.

Over the last 5-10 years Walsall has benefited from significant investment, both in the town centre and across the borough. We:

  • delivered high-quality commercial, industrial and residential development
  • benefited from regeneration schemes worth over £415 million delivered in the town centre alone
  • want to provide and safeguard high quality employment land in the best location
  • want to help existing businesses to grow as well as attract new companies to Walsall

There is potential for industrial development across the borough.

Opportunities in Walsall

We continue to offer a range of new development and investment opportunities.

Most of the larger site opportunities are within the M6 J10 cluster/town centre/Black Country Route and M6 Toll/A5/A461 corridors.

These sites provide access to the national motorway network and good labour markets.

We want to work with land owners, investors and businesses who share our vision to grow a thriving and vibrant Walsall. Our aim is to bring these exciting propositions to life.

We support the delivery of development and investment opportunities in Walsall.

We recognise the challenges of developing in some parts of the borough due to the legacy of historic uses and associated costs/values.

We are keen to work with the private sector to unlock sites via:

  • site assembly
  • partnership working/structures
  • risk sharing
  • public sector funding
  • strategic delivery help

If you are a developer, investor or occupier, contact the Development Team for the latest opportunities.
