Memorials

When a loved one has passed away, you may wish to put a memorial in place to commemorate and remember them. We can provide information and assistance with a variety of memorials.

We are in the process of introducing new memorial options. Email us if you would like to receive further details about them.

Memorial options

Book of remembrance

An entry in the book of remembrance is a simple and lasting memorial. Each book is handmade using traditional methods. There is a separate page for each day, and they are displayed on the relevant dates.

The Ryecroft books contain inscriptions with red initials, and the Streetly books contain inscriptions with 23 carat gold initials.

Inscriptions, which can be two, five or eight lines long, are hand written by skilled calligraphers who can also create miniature images alongside the text of the longer entries.

You can see a digital replica of the entry in Walsall's books of remembrance at any time.
