This is an open call programme -there are no deadlines however you may wish to take note of the grants assessment panel meeting dates below so you will know when the application will be assessed.
Applications will first be assessed to ensure the application has been fully completed, it is eligible and all supporting documents have been included.
Eligible applications will then be scored by a Grants Assessment Panel. Only applications that pass the sifting stage will be scored. The Grants Assessment Panel will make a recommendation to the Black Country Programme Advisory Board who will formally approve the award for all grants.
Applicants will be sent a letter informing them of their application outcome. Decisions are normally made within 4-6 weeks of the application deadline.
Applicants who are successful will be asked to confirm that they wish to accept the offer. Unsuccessful applicants will be told why they were not successful.
The panel will consider the following in making their decision:
* Application score
* Level of deprivation in the delivery area
* How well the project meets the programme aims and local / regional strategies
* Participant priority
* Track record (if previously been awarded an ESF community grant)
* Funding available
* The need to achieve an equitable distribution across the sub-region.
The application form itself contains notes about how to complete each section. Please read this carefully before you attempt to complete the form.
