Lottery Funded Logo

The Black Country LEP in conjunction with Big Lottery Fund are organising a Building Better Opportunities Networking Event to provide the latest details on the priorities for the funding available for service providers in the Black Country.

The event, to be held on Wednesday 8th July 2015, will enable the LEP to meet with applicants who are applying for funding and help to clarify the potential opportunities available for providers.

Providers of services for: Targeted Communities, Families in Poverty, Employment Support for Over 25s, Digital and Financial Inclusion, and applicants to the Big Lottery Fund for each one of the four calls for the Black Country LEP/Big Lottery Fund under Building Better Opportunities, are all welcome to attend.

The networking event will be held at West Bromwich Albion Football Club from 8:30am-12:00pm and the agenda will be centred around:

• Meeting applicants
• Understanding the potential of the fund for you as a provider
• The rationale for the priority themes for the Black Country
• Working with EU/Big Lottery funding

Providers Network
To enable your organisation to be best positioned to receive information and be part of emerging partnerships, the BCLEP encourages you to sign up to our Register of Providers. This will assist the Black Country LEP in understanding the range of organisations, experience, innovation and impact the organisations have on each of the priorities and will help the organisation in ensuring you are ready for future opportunities. In order to join the register, please click here to complete our online questionnaire.

Building Better Opportunities Ask and Offer document
Prior to the initial call under Building Better Opportunities, Big Lottery Fund awarded the Black Country Consortium Ltd Programme Development funds (PDF) to raise awareness of the opportunity and increase capacity in readiness for the call under these four themes.

New procedures are highlighted in an updated version of the document outlining the Black Country’s offer to organisations who may be interested in bidding for these opportunities. The Ask and Offer document can be downloaded from the LEP website.

Priority themes
Current intelligence on each of the four Priority Themes for the Black Country are listed on the LEP website. For further information contact Michael_lewis@blackcountryconsortium.co.uk
