Mid Year Admissions

 You may apply for a place at a Walsall Community or Voluntary Controlled primary school during the school year for your child if he or she currently attends a primary school, or you have moved into Walsall and require a primary school for your child.

Your child must currently be in the Reception to Year 6 year groups to make a Mid-Year Admission application.  You can list up to five preferences on the application and can apply for the following Walsall community and voluntary controlled schools:

If the Walsall school you wish to apply for is not listed above, you should submit your application direct to that school.

If you would like to make a Mid Year Admission application for a place in another Local Authority school, you should contact that Local Authority Admissions Team for details of their Mid-Year Admission Process.

If it is not possible to offer a place at one of your preferred schools and your child is currently without a school place, a place will be offered at the nearest community or voluntary controlled school with a vacancy.  All applicants will receive a letter notifying them of the outsome of their application.

The Admissions and Pupil Place Planning Team can be contacted  by telephone on 01922 652585 between 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am - 4.45pm Fridays or via email on midyear.admissions@walsall.gov.uk Admissions and Pupil Place Planning are located with Walsall Civic Centre.

Mid Year Admission online applications are available from 8 January 2018.
