Accessibility at the polling station
We’ve made some improvements at polling stations to support you if you have additional access requirements.
All polling stations are wheelchair accessible.
All polling stations have booths adapted for wheelchair users.
If you have a disability, you can bring anyone who is over 18 with you to help you to vote. This includes carers who may not be eligible to vote themselves.
We will take all reasonable steps to provide support for you at the polling station. For example, we’ll provide:
- audio description ballot papers
- magnifying glasses
- pencil grips
- privacy screens
- tactile voting devices
