Statement of accounts 2025-2026

Walsall Council has prepared its pre-audit financial report for 2025 to 2026. These accounts are currently subject to audit by the council’s external auditors, Grant Thornton. Following the audit, the council’s Audit Committee will consider the accounts. The financial report comprises the narrative report, council’s financial statements and annual governance statement.

The council’s Notice of Inspection can be found below. The period for the public right of inspection is between 29 June and 7 August 2026 with full details outlined in the notice below.
