BOS Office Solutions C.I.C. – “Step Up”

Awarded Black Country ESF Community Grants – £14,999.76
The ‘STEP-UP’ project (delivered by BOS Business Office Solutions CIC) was awarded a Community Grant which was designed to help local unemployed or economically inactive people to:

improve the confidence

Update CV’s or develop a new one

Increase opportunities by undertaking employment (skills development) courses

Undertake accredited qualifications
-
Have opportunity of supported in-house work experience
-
Gain access to extended voluntary opportunities
Support will be provided through both group and bespoke one to one sessions.
The project was profiled to support 54 unemployed and economically inactive participants in the Black Country, specifically targeting females, people with health problems, BAME communities and the over 50’s. Helping them to improve their confidence, CV’s and employment opportunities through interventions including:

Employment skills training courses

Supported in-house work experience placements

BOS Business Office Solutions CIC successfully completed their “Step Up” project funded by the Black Country ESF Community Grants.
From the 54 participant starts on the project, 9 participants entered full time employment and 4 participants have secured voluntary placements at BOS Business Office Solutions CIC and other organisations.
