Apply for a skip permit
You need to have a permit before you can place a skip on the road. The company that is supplying the skip must apply for the permit, and will need to apply least three working days in advance.

If your company is not on the registered skip companies list, you'll need to use our application form below. Return it to us with the correct payment and a copy of your public liability insurance (for no less than £5,000,000).

You can send your form back to us by email or you can post it to the traffic management and coordination team.
How to pay your fee
Your fee will be specified on the permit. We send out invoices twice a year for any permits issued to your company, with instructions about how to pay.
