The Wizard of Oz flies into Walsall Arena this Christmas
Published on
It’s nearly that magical time of year when Walsall Arena transforms into a whirlwind of festive fun. This December, audiences are invited to click their heels and follow the Yellow Brick Road to The Wizard of Oz: A Wicked Pantomime, a dazzling adventure for all the family.

Join Dorothy Gale as she’s swept away by a whirlywind to a land of mischief, magic and marvellous mayhem. A mix-up involving some sparkly Ruby Crocs has left the Wicked Wench of the West green with envy and out for revenge. Thankfully, Dame Glinda (The Good Wench of Walsall) is on hand to guide Dorothy through a land full of surprises, sass, and slapstick.
Along the way, she’ll meet a scatterbrained Scarecrow, a headbanging Tin Man, and a Lion who’s more cuddly than courageous. Together, they’ll sing pop bangers, dance up a storm, and deliver groanworthy gags galore in a show bursting with all the panto silliness Walsall has come to love.
“ Walsall Arena’s pantomimes are a highlight of the festive season, and this year’s production promises to be another cracker. With the same creative team behind last year’s sell-out show, audiences can expect a top-quality performance full of heart, humour and holiday cheer. Don’t miss out, book early and follow the Yellow Brick Road to Walsall Arena! “
Performances run from Saturday 6 December to Sunday 21 December 2025, with tickets priced from £14. A BSL interpreted performance will take place on Sunday 14 December at 12pm.
