Walsall Council rolls out summer holiday activities for young people and families
Published on
Walsall Council is bringing a summer of fun, fitness and community spirit to local parks during the school holidays.

Every weekday from Monday 28 July to Friday 29 August, children, young people and families across the borough can enjoy a range of activities at King George V Playing Fields, Bloxwich, and Willenhall Memorial Park.
The Tri-it Walsall initiative encourages residents to get outdoors and get moving over the summer break. A variety of sports equipment will be available to borrow, along with activity cards that include fun games and physical challenges suitable for all ages and abilities.
The activities will run alongside the popular splashpads at both sites, with local community groups and organisations also attending on selected days to engage with the public and share information about services available across the borough.
All activities are weather dependent and may be subject to change.
“ We want to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for families in Walsall to stay active and healthy during the summer holidays. TRI-IT Walsall is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy our parks, try out new games, and connect with local organisations. Whether it’s through a splash in the water or a kickabout on the grass, we’re encouraging everyone to come along, get moving, and make the most of the summer. “
