Walsall Council and Walsall FC celebrate civic pride through new Third kit launch

Walsall Council and Walsall Football Club have teamed up to celebrate local pride and identity as the club unveils its brand-new Third Kit ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The launch video, filmed at Walsall Council House, uses one of the borough’s most historic civic buildings as the backdrop to showcase Walsall’s heritage, community spirit and strong sense of place.

The Third kit campaign video reflects the shared ambition of partners across Walsall to celebrate the borough’s people, achievements and identity, supporting the wider vision of the We Are Walsall 2040 partnership to create a healthier, thriving, prosperous and proud Walsall. By working together and showcasing the stories of those connected to the borough.

The Council House provided the perfect backdrop for this launch, allowing us to celebrate not only the club’s history but also the wider town that we are proud to represent.
Attention to detail has been a priority throughout the design process, and we wanted to create a kit that supporters could feel connected to while reflecting the pride we all have in Walsall. “
The launch video features a number of familiar faces connected to the borough, including Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Alan Fleming QRM, WBA International and English Champion Hamza Uddin, and TV’s Married at First Sight’s Sacha Jones. The new Third Kit celebrates the club’s heritage with a navy design featuring white and lilac detailing, an embossed swift and ‘The Saddlers’ displayed on the back of the neck. The launch forms part of wider partnership activity to promote pride in Walsall and celebrate the people, places and stories that make the borough distinctive.
