The community of Walsall came together on Sunday 9 November 2025 for the borough’s annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service, with a strong turnout of people united in honouring the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
Walsall’s town centre service was led by the Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Louise Harrison, alongside David Frost CBE DL, Deputy Lieutenant, and other dignitaries. The ceremony included a parade featuring representatives from 159 Theatre Support Company, the Cheshire Regiment Association, Mercian Volunteers Regimental Association, Walsall Sea Cadets, Queen Mary’s Grammar School Combined Cadet Force and various uniformed youth organisations.
Music was provided by The Staffordshire Band.
“ It was an honour to represent the borough at this year’s annual Remembrance Sunday service. The huge turnout this year demonstrated a strong commitment from our residents to always reflect and honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are immensely proud of how the community united to pay its respects across the borough. “
