One vehicle, a Vauxhall Astra, was seized following a fly-tipping offence in Brockhurst Crescent on March 15, 2026. A second vehicle was also seized as part of a separate investigation into a fly-tipping incident in Rowley View on March 22, 2026.

Both seizures were carried out to prevent further offending and support ongoing enquiries.

In a separate case, an offender was identified following a fly-tipping incident on Vernon Way, Walsall, on 15 March 2026 and issued with a £400 Fixed Penalty Notice.

Working in partnership with West Midlands Police, these actions form part of continued efforts to disrupt illegal waste activity and protect local neighbourhoods.

The seized vehicles will be held as part of ongoing investigations. Should they remain unclaimed, further action may be taken, including applying for their disposal.

A spokesperson for Walsall Council said, “Fly-tipping is a serious offence that harms our communities and environment.

Walsall Council provides a range of legal waste disposal options for residents, including two Household Waste Recycling Centres and a bulky items collection service.

Residents are encouraged to report fly-tipping quickly and easily via the council’s website: https://go.walsall.gov.uk/apply/myaccount-online-services/report-fly-tip (opens in new tab) or by calling 01922 653355.
