Have your say on community safety and crime in Walsall
Published on
Walsall residents are being invited to have their say on community safety and crime in the borough through a new survey launched by the Safer Walsall Partnership (SWP).
This five-week consultation is now open and will close at midnight on Sunday 21 June 2026.
The survey asks people to share their views on the issues that matter most to them when it comes to community safety, helping the partnership better understand local concerns and priorities.
Residents can complete the survey online at www.walsall.gov.uk/CommunitySafetySurvey.
Feedback will help the partnership understand local priorities and inform its future work across Walsall. Findings from the survey will also support an annual review of the Community Safety Plan 2026-29, which will take place later this year. Topics covered in the survey include anti-social behaviour, violent crime, drugs and alcohol, and domestic abuse.
“ We understand that being and feeling safe is fundamental to strong and thriving communities. The Safer Walsall Partnership remains committed to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour while continuing to work closely with our communities to improve confidence and the perceptions of safety across the borough.
“This survey is an important opportunity for local people to tell us what matters most to them, where they feel concerns remain and where we should focus our collective efforts. The feedback received will help shape our priorities and ensure that the work we do reflects the experiences and needs of the communities we serve. “
“ Community safety matters to everyone in Walsall, and it is important that local people have the opportunity to shape the work we do with our partners to keep communities safe. This survey is a chance for residents to tell us what issues matter most to them, and I would encourage as many people as possible to take part. “
The survey can be completed online, with support also available at the council’s Walsall Connected centres. Anyone needing help to take part can speak to a member of staff at their local centre. For more information, visit the Walsall Connected website.
