Bookings open for Walsall Council’s Easter 2026 HAF programme

Published on

Walsall Council works with over 75 providers across the borough to offer children and young people aged five to 16 years old, fun, local activities during the school holidays. This Easter is no exception.

The Easter 2026 Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme will be available for two weeks between Monday 30 March and Sunday 12 April 2026.

Eligible families can register for the programme at any time during the year, and the booking portal for this year’s Easter HAF programme opens on Monday 23 February 2026 at 10am.

“ With more than 6,000 individual HAF places every day, we’re busy working with various providers to deliver a fortnight of fun for children and young people aged five to 16 years old.

“One of the best things about the HAF programme is that whilst children are attending their activities, they receive a free healthy and nutritious meal too, which helps take the pressure off parents and carers during the school holidays. So, get ready for the Easter holidays and book in your HAF activities. “

Councillor Mark Statham, Portfolio Holder for Children, Families & Lifelong Learning

As part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme, children are provided a healthy meal and given exciting recipes and ingredients to try out with their families at home.

All eligible children can access four days of activities; this includes pick & mix/family activities.
