Bloxwich Active Living Centre celebrates 10-year anniversary with Wild West Party

Walsall Council’s Leisure Services is inviting local families to join the celebrations at Bloxwich Active Living Centre for its 10th anniversary with a special Wild West themed party this summer.
The milestone celebration will take place on Friday 7 August from 10am to 2pm, offering a jam-packed day of themed activities designed to bring the local community together to celebrate ten years of health, wellbeing, and active living in Bloxwich.
Visitors can look forward to testing their skills on a rodeo bull, alongside classic party games, face painting, arts and crafts, a treasure hunt, and a fancy-dress competition. Entertainment will feature a mini disco hosted by JD Sounds, as well as dedicated baby sensory sessions supported by Family Hubs. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event at the centre’s coffee shop.

Over the past decade, the centre has been at the heart of our efforts to encourage residents of all ages to lead healthier and more active lives. Since opening its doors ten years ago, Bloxwich Active Living Centre has played a vital role in providing a modern, welcoming space for local fitness, sports, learning, and social activities.
Tickets are priced at £6 per child, which covers access to all activities. Adult entry is free, though parental supervision is required throughout the event.
Slots are limited, and families are encouraged to book early to secure their spot.

About Bloxwich Active Living Centre
The newly refurbished Active Living Centre boasts a 100-station gym, featuring a wide range of strength-training equipment, including a premium range of plate-loaded machines, squat racks, a Smith machine and a large functional training space.
