Report a rogue landlord

If you live in privately rented property that is not well managed or maintained you can contact us for free help and advice.

We will provide advice and guidance but can also use enforcement action where appropriate.

Enforcement action can include:

• Civil Penalty Notices (CPNs) of up to £40,000
• Rent Repayment Orders (RROs) requiring the landlord to return rent which can potentially be for a non-compliance period of up to 24 months
• Adding landlords to the National Database of Rogue Landlords and Letting Agents subject to meeting the criteria.
