Report a concern about care quality
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.
If you or someone you know receives care and you’re worried about the quality, you can report it. We will take your concerns seriously.
Before you report a problem
In many cases, you can sort things quickly by speaking directly to the care provider.
This could be:
- the care home manager
- the home care agency
- a staff member involved
Sometimes problems happen because of a misunderstanding. The provider may be able to put things right straight away.
Report a concern
If you don’t feel comfortable speaking to the provider, or you can’t resolve the problem, you have other options:
If someone is at risk of harm
If you think someone is at risk of harm or neglect, you should raise a safeguarding concern.
Make a complaint about care services
You can make a complaint about adult social care services provided or arranged by Walsall Council.
We will:
- investigate what happened
- keep you informed
- explain what action we will take
