Consultation on Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025

Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA)

A Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is a report that we must produce every three years. It looks at what pharmacy services people in the local area need now, and in the future. It also helps us to identify any gaps in current provision. We can use this information to commission new NHS funded pharmacy services if they are needed, so everyone gets the care they need.

Why we need your views

We'd like to hear from stakeholders, including pharmacies, National Health Service England and members of our Health and Wellbeing Board. We'd like to know if you agree with the contents of our draft PNA 2025 and if it addresses issues that you consider relevant to the provision of pharmaceutical services.

You can read the draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025 below.
