Armed Forces Day flag raising ceremony

When: -

Admission: Free for everyone to come along.

Armed Forces Day flag, with text 'show your support', on a flag pole.

Join the Mayor of Walsall on the Council House forecourt for a simple but meaningful ceremony to raise the Armed Forces Day flag, in unity with communities across the UK.

Armed Forces Day is a national occasion to recognise and thank the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community – from currently serving troops and service families to veterans, cadets, and reservists. Here in Walsall, we’re marking the day with a heartfelt show of support in our flag raising ceremony – and we’d love you to join us.

If you have a connection to the Armed Forces – whether you're a veteran, a reservist, part of a military family, or a cadet volunteer – we encourage you to come along, be recognised, and feel celebrated as part of our armed forces community. Everyone is welcome.

Please arrive at 10.20am. The ceremony will begin at 10.30am - The Council House, Lichfield Street, Walsall, WS11 UZ.
