The Guildhall Creative Industries Enterprise Centre
Walsall Council is turning the historic Grade II* Guildhall into a Creative Industries Enterprise Centre (CIEC).
The centre will be a makerspace for arts, tech, and creative businesses.
The project has funding from Arts Council England’s Cultural Development Fund and the Government’s Towns Fund. We're working with Urban Hax to access funding, remove barriers and bring the scheme to life.
We've also secured another £20 million through the Government’s Community Regeneration Partnership. This means we can fund specialist equipment facilities.
Construction should be complete in spring 2026, with a grand opening in early summer.
Gleeds, CPMG Architects and Cundall are the appointed consultants working on the scheme.
