Adult learning centre

We are developing a new, central adult learning centre in the former M&S in the Saddlers Shopping Centre.

Walsall College will relocate their adult leaning services from their Hawbush and Whitehall sites to more accessible locations within the town centre.

The main hub will be sited in the former M&S space. This has been empty since 2018.

The new facility will offer a wide range of educational services focused on:

• supporting adult learners
• developing employability skills
• helping individuals improve their business and IT competencies

The reinvention and reuse of this building will play a transformational role within the heart of the town centre. It feeds into the wider master planning and development strategies of Walsall.

Construction starts in Spring 2026. We expect that the new facilities will begin operations in September 2027.
