Transfer a premises licence to another licence holder

You must download both application forms. The consent form must be completed by the current licence holder and included in your transfer application.

The form is an editable PDF. Once you've downloaded it, you can open it using any PDF editor or viewer that supports form filling. You can edit it in your own time and save your progress as you go.

When you’re ready, continue to the next step to submit your application.

Alternatively, you can print the form and fill it in manually. Once completed, you’ll need to scan it and save it to your device so you can attach it to your application.

Please do not flatten the PDF when saving or exporting it. Flattening (using "print to PDF" or similar options) will remove the interactive fields and the form will be uneditable.

To preserve the editable fields:

• use the Save or Save As option in your PDF editor
• avoid using any export or print functions that convert the form into a static image or non-fillable format

If you're not sure if your saved file is editable, try reopening it in a PDF editor to check if the form fields are still active.

To submit the form you need to attach copies of the following:

• consent form from the current licence holder
• your completed application form
• current premises licence
• evidence of right to work in the UK (if you are applying as an individual or sole trader)

Make sure you’ve saved them to your device before you start your application.

Fees

The fee to transfer a premises licence is £23. You should have your debit or credit card ready as we will take your payment as part of the online application process.
