Report a problem with a street light or Belisha beacon
Street lights illuminate roads, paths, and other public areas.
A Belisha beacon is a yellow globe light mounted on a black and white striped pole, used to mark pedestrian crossings
If a street light or Belisha beacon is damaged, you can report it.
What you need to tell us
To report a problem with a street light or Belisha beacon, you will need to tell us where it is.
A description and photograph of the problem will also be helpful. Only provide photographs if it is safe to do so.

If you're unable to complete the online form, you can:
- go to a Walsall Connected hub, where we'll show you how to use MyAccount
- phone the customer experience centre and we will take you through the process
If the map says the location is not managed by Walsall Council
Find out what to do if the problem is on privately-owned land (such as social housing land and non-council car parks).
If you believe that the location you've identified belongs to Walsall Council and is not private, you can let us know and help us keep our records up to date.
